JAC revealed the new six-seat crossover Jiayue X8July 7, 2020
JAC published the debut official photos of its own new cross-country Jiayue X8, which will be located in the lineup at a position above the Jiayue X7 and uses the latest design language.
According to the brand’s press center, the new product will be offered in 5-, 6- or 7-seater configurations. The new style of the company, called JAC 3.0, looks quite good on various models. One of the most striking details is the overall polygonal front grill with vertical slats.
According to the designers, the two pronounced lines on the sides of the JAC Jiayue X8 should enhance the feeling of movement even on a static machine. In addition, the new car has an end-to-end design of the rear light group, which is now also a popular design method.
It should be emphasized that the 2-sided exhaust layout also makes the car more dynamic. Interesting elements are a bifurcated exhaust system and interconnected taillights.
The dimensions of the new cross are 4795x1870x1758 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2810 mm. As for the technical part of the novelty, the car is equipped with an 184-horsepower gasoline turbo engine with a volume of 1.5 liters, with which a 6-speed manual transmission or a “robot” with two clutches works.
