Zotye T600 is a new generation of rush demand in ChinaFebruary 2, 2019
The model debuted on the home market in October 2018, from which time local dealers began to regularly report on the growth in consumer demand for the new product. Before the release of the updated SUV, the “pre-reform” crossover was not so good.
The big Zotye T600 crossover debuted at the Shanghai Motor Show back in 2013 and until the middle of last year was of particular interest among Chinese motorists. This model regularly hit the rating of the best-selling brand cars. To regain its former popularity, the Zotye management decided to upgrade the T600, focusing on modern security systems and new technologies.
The novelty came to dealers in October 2018. A month later, there were 2,200 buyers on the model’s account, and by the end of December, sales of the new generation SUV had crossed the mark of 3,100 cars.
The new product differs from the “pre-reform” cross-country with its increased dimensions, a new glazing line in the spirit of the T600 Coupe, original bumpers, a six-sided grille and modernized optics. The car’s interior was also refined: a digital dashboard, a new front panel, multimedia with a large “floating” touch screen, another climate control unit, and new seats.
Under the hood, the updated T600 hides one of two turbo engines: a liter and a half for 162 hp. or 1.8-liter capacity of 177 horses. “Junior” is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission, for the second engine, the developers have prepared a seven-speed robotized gearbox. Next generation Zotye T600 prices start from 79,800 yuan
