Zero has published a teaser for the new electric motorcycle SR / SJanuary 27, 2020
The press service of the motorcycle manufacturer – the company Zero, has published a teaser for the new model SR / S. A motorcycle with an all-electric powerplant will be unveiled on February 24 this year.
Around the same time last year, Zero Motorcycles excited the global auto and motorcycle community with the introduction of its first performance-oriented electric motorcycle. The novelty received the designation SR / F. The model “lifted the bar” of performance and design for the American manufacturer. SR / F has become the most powerful model of the company, but 2020 will be marked by the advent of the new motorcycle of the SR series, and this time it will be S.
A couple of hours ago, Zero Motorcycles modestly updated its website with a new headline, hinting at an early presentation of the Zero SR / S – the show will be held on February 24, 2020.
What is SR / S? To be honest, I have no idea. I can only say one thing, apparently, in the coming weeks we will be shown more than one teaser for this new product.
So it’s time to play my favorite game: let’s speculate! In fact, we have a tiny clue about what the new SR / S will be. Given that SR / S uses the same naming structure as the current SR / F model, it can be assumed that the two models will be closely related to each other in terms of platform and power plant.
At the moment, Zero electric motorcycles are not compatible with faster charging stations. If the company wants people to seriously consider the Zero models as their main transport, and not as the second or third, it needs to take care of the full support of fast charges.
