As for the technical equipment of the restyled MT-07, it remains the same, that is, the motorcycle is still equipped with a 689 cc engine with a capacity of 75 hp. At the same time, Yamaha specialists modified the engine by changing the air ducts, modernizing the ECU, optimizing the fuel injection parameters and adding a new exhaust system.

The bike also features a telescopic front fork, an adjustable monoblock at the rear, 17-inch wheels and ABS. In turn, the braking of the model is provided by 298 mm discs with two 4-piston calipers at the front and 245 mm discs with a single-piston caliper at the rear. Along with this, the motorcycle has become heavier by one and a half kilograms in comparison with its predecessor, and now its weight is 184 kg.
