Yacht for eco-billionaires: on the network showed impressive photosOctober 2, 2019
In Monaco, on a yacht show, they showed the concept of an ecological superyacht “Aqua” for billionaires, which runs on liquid hydrogen and emits clean water as an exhaust into the environment.
The yacht developed by the Dutch company Sinot is reported by Mirror. A 111-meter ship can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots (about 32 km / h) and has a range of 6,000 kilometers.
“In each project, I challenge myself and my team to excel myself. For the development of Aqua, we drew inspiration from the lifestyle of a discerning, visionary owner, the flexibility and versatility of water and advanced technology. Currently, this is just a concept, but we hope that our work will pave the way for a greener future for the superyacht industry, “said designer Sander Sinot.
The yacht received a futuristic design, a curved upper deck and combines high-tech elements of hi-tech scenery with classic interior solutions. In total, the yacht can accommodate about 30 crew members and 14 guests, which will include a gym, a hydromassage room, a cinema and a cascading surface pool.
Inside, the yacht is divided into five decks, which are connected by a spiral staircase in the center, and technical elevators. On the lower deck there is a docking station for boats and jet skis.
Two vacuum tanks are located in the hold of the yacht, where liquid hydrogen is stored at a temperature of -253 degrees Celsius. During the operation of the yacht, liquid hydrogen with the help of special fuel cells generates electricity, while the yacht produces clean water as an exhaust.
Thanks to the special power plant, the yacht produces a minimum of noise and vibration. Engineers are confident that the finished model will be able to claim the title of the quietest yacht in the world.
