Will off-road compact van Nissan Livina repeat Mitsubishi Xpander?January 14, 2019
Car 2020 model year will be radically different from the “pre-reform” Nissan Livina. Compact van will not only replace the “donor”, but will receive a new price tag.
This year, Nissan is preparing to debut its new compact van Nissan Livina, which will take its place among today’s popular models with the prefix “cross”. At the same time, with the release of a new generation, Livina will lose the designation “Grand” in the title. Recall the current version of the car was presented back in 2013. The basis of this generation went to the Nissan Note hatchback.
The novelty, according to the specialized portal Autonetmagz, will receive a platform from Mitsubishi Xpander. In addition to the platform, Nissan Livina borrows from the new “donor” the size, as well as, probably, the elements of the exterior design and interior features.
In addition to design, experts plan to see coincidences in optional equipment. Drive expect no alternative front. As a motor, buyers will be offered a 1.5-liter power unit with a return of 120 hp, working in tandem with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission. The manufacturer keeps the cost of the novelty secret. According to preliminary forecasts, the new Nissan Livina will be slightly more expensive than the Mitsubishi Xpander.
