What will be the new VW Golf wagon SportWagen?November 4, 2019
Sales of the new generation of the wildly popular VW Golf by SportWagen (wagon) will start in Europe next year. There is no data on whether the station wagon will be offered in the off-road version of Alltrack.
Finally it happened – the German brand VW introduced us a new (eighth in a row) generation of its most popular Golf hatchback. It is already known that next year a more powerful version of the model will be shown, which traditionally will receive the GTI prefix to its name.
For 2020, VW Golf in the performance of SportWagen (station wagon), as well as Alltrack – an off-road version of the station wagon should appear in the EU.
There is no doubt that compared to the eighth-generation conventional VW Golf hatchback, the universal version of the model is unlikely to receive significant changes in appearance. The render we published for the new VW Golf SportWagen / Alltrack, which in turn was created by independent artists, can probably turn out to be very accurate.
So far, much is unknown about the German novelty, in particular, it is not clear whether the station wagon will be offered in the high-performance version of R, like its predecessor. Indeed, a lot of people who were just buying the “charged” version of the Golf 7 R Variant made a choice in favor of this car because of more than 300 horsepower, four-wheel drive and large rear space.
