What will be the high-performance sedan Audi RS4 2020?June 17, 2019
Most recently, the “charged” Audi RS4 was released in a sedan about ten years ago. Since then, the most powerful version of the German model is offered only in the station wagon. Domestic designer decided to dream up on the topic, but what if …
It has been more than ten years since the last time Audi offered the A4 model in a sedan in the most powerful version of the RS4. A similar performance of the car was presented for the generation of the B7 – under the hood of such a car was a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. The most powerful version (RS4) for the current iteration, the B9 uses a smaller 2.9-liter V6 Twin Turbo and is offered only as a station wagon. But what if, after the facelift of this car, the sedan will be presented in the most powerful version.
This virtual car was created by a talented designer Nikita Aksyonov and offers a look at the successor of the RS4 sedan, released from 2006 to 2008.
The front of the car is almost identical to the current RS4 Avant (wagon), the only significant difference lies in the new headlights. A few small changes at the bottom of the bumper are also visible, but they do not have a huge visual impact.
Rear sedan A4 has two massive exhaust pipes surrounded by an aggressive diffuser, covered with black lacquer. The rear lights are also equipped with new graphics updated A4, and on the trunk lid there is a small and stylish spoiler. If you look at the side profile of the presented car, you will notice wider side skirts and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels.
At the moment there is no official confirmation that the management of Audi is going to present the RS4 of the current generation in the sedan.
Not so long ago, we wrote that Audi engineers are testing prototypes of the updated A3.
