What will a Peugeot hypercar look like for endurance racing?December 3, 2019
An automotive designer showed images of a Peugeot hypercar. This is his personal vision of a race car that could take part in the Le Mans 24 hour race.
About a month ago, information appeared that the French automaker Peugeot was returning to the Le Mans 24 hour race. Under the new rules, which have recently entered into force, in order to participate in the hypercar class, a company must produce at least 20 such cars in order to compete in endurance races.
However, it is not yet known what appearance the new hypercar will receive from this automaker. To date, Peugeot does not have a single model, even approximately resembling a hypercar in appearance. The designers presented how the model of the company might look, which will take part in the Le Mans 24 hour race.
The car shown in the first picture is the work of Sean Bull Design. It is called the Peugeot 90X, it is a kind of fantasy on the subject of what the car of the three-time Le Mans winners in 2021 might look like.
There is no other information yet, because this is just a designer’s imagination. However, he says that this render is based on the 2016 L500 R Hybrid concept.
