What is known about the budget supercar Factory Five Racing?October 27, 2019
The prototype of the new supercar from Factory Five Racing will be shown at SEMA, which is dedicated to tuning. Well, a full presentation of the car will take place in February 2020.
Factory Five Racing offers what most motorists love – professionally built supercars at affordable prices for this class. The guys made a name for themselves by creating high-performance replicas of such famous models as AC Cobra (Great Britain) – a copy of the car was created on the basis of the Chevy Corvette sports coupe. They called their car GTM (pictured).
A couple of hours ago, Factory Five Racing announced that its previously created GTM supercar will have a successor, which will be shown at the upcoming SEMA tuning exhibition. This event will take place next month.
Last Thursday, live on Facebook, the guys and Factory Five presented a prototype of the front and middle of their new model. As the engine of the new supercar, it was decided to use a 9.5-liter V12, created on the base of the LS3 motor. Power is 750 horsepower, and the torque is an impressive 1,052 Nm.
The chassis of the new Factory Five supercar is based on the legendary Shelby Daytona, but it will be 22.86 centimeters wider than its donor, 11.43 centimeters wider. The wheelbase of the Factory Five GTM receiver is 264 cm.
It seems that the new Factory Five Racing supercar will receive a Wilwood brake system, an adjustable Koni suspension. The body of the new supercar will be made of carbon fiber, making this a lightweight and powerful supercar.
As we already mentioned, the new Factory Five supercar will be shown at SEMA next month, but the full presentation of the car will take place in February 2020.
