The Indian crossover Maruti S-Presso is reported to be unveiled on September 30, 2019. But we can already find out some details about it, thanks to a data leak.
Very soon, the official debut of the Indian crossover Maruti S-Presso will take place, the price of which will be at least 3.5 million rupees. The long-awaited novelty is based on the Future-S concept previously presented at Auto Expo 2018. The strange-looking micro-crossover will be available in four versions: Std, LXi, VXi and VXi +.
The list of safety systems will include ABS, a driver’s airbag, rear parking sensors, reminder of unfastened seat belts, a digital speedometer and a warning system for exceeding the selected speed.
Basic equipment Std will not receive air conditioning and power steering, which will be equipped with other versions. Modification VXi will be able to boast of keyless access to the interior with a central lock, a SmartPlay Dock audio system with the ability to connect Bluetooth, front electric windows, body-colored bumpers and wheel caps. The Maruti S-Presso VXi + will receive a front passenger airbag as standard, while the same safety feature will be offered as an option for other trim levels.
The main competitor of the Indian crossover Maruti S-Presso will be a mini-SUV from France Renault Kwid. Under the hood of the S-Presso will be a 1.0-liter gasoline engine K10B with a capacity of 68 hp. (90 Nm). A 5-speed manual / automatic transmission will be offered as a transmission. Sales of the Indian crossover are scheduled for 2020.
