What criteria will be important when choosing a car after 15 yearsApril 11, 2020
The answer to this question was sought by experts from the popular German magazine Automobil Industrie.
To find out what criteria will come first in 15 years when choosing a car, the Germans questioned ordinary motorists and also talked with workers in the automotive industry. The results obtained in the study of professional and “philistine” opinions turned out to be different. So, according to Automobil Industrie, the automotive industry, describing a potential future bestseller, voted only 9.7% of the vote. The experts left the top lines of the list for the cost of a car (27.9%), the presence of an autopilot function (24.7%), and also the type of power plant.
The appearance of the car as the main criterion when choosing a vehicle was noted by only two percent of respondents. A little more than those who voted for equipping the car and its “connectivity” – 3.2 and 3.9%, respectively.
Car owners who bought their vehicles over the past two years called the type of motor the most important criterion (26.7%). The second place was taken by the price of a car (22.7%), and the third – its reliability (18.2%). 12 percent of respondents would pay attention to the growing autopilot, 1.5 and 4.4% would pay attention to the list of available options and “connectivity”.
