What could be the “charged” crossover Hyundai Kona N 2021?September 9, 2020
Designer presented their vision of what the high-performance crossover Hyundai Kona N 2021 model year could be like. Camouflaged prototypes of the novelty have already been seen on the Nürburgring race track.
We’ve seen many spy shots of the prototype of the most powerful version of the South Korean Kona crossover. In early September, Hyundai unveiled an updated version of the Kona, including a new N-Line rendition that boasts a more aggressive body kit.
Based on the latter, foreign artists decided to present what the high-performance crossover Hyundai Kona N 2021 would look like. The virtual novelty received a corporate shade of blue and red body accents.
The wheel arches have become more visible. A roof spoiler extends rearward from the sunroof, and the front bumper is slightly more boxy.
What’s more important will be what the new item will have under the hood. The Kona is rumored to use the same powerplant found in the high-performance Veloster N hatchback. That means 250 or 275 horsepower from the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The transmission will be an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that will be mated to an all-wheel drive system.
So far, there is neither official nor any rumors about when we can see the high-performance Kona N 2021.
