Nathan Watson won the home stage of WESS 2019 at Hawkscon Park, while Lettenbichler increased his lead in the championship race.

The cross-country race lasted two and a half hours. Throughout the whole phase, Nathan showed an excellent pace. Almost everyone was guided by it, considering it a favorite of the race. In his native land, Nathan had an excellent race and won with a 2-minute advantage.

Nathan Watson: “I was under tremendous pressure before this stage, because everyone spoke of my unconditional victory. Having won the sprint enduro, he became a little more confident, and then he started poorly and fell heavily in the standings. He made several aggressive overtaking at the beginning of the race, which allowed him to rise higher. At one point, he led the race. He felt so comfortable and controlled the pace of the race. “
