Weltmeister Maven sedan promises 800 km on a single chargeMay 11, 2020
The Weltmeister brand, owned by the Chinese corporation WM Motor, showed the Weltmeister Maven concept car on Monday, May 11.
There is almost no information about the new product, but the main thing the creators are proud of is aerodynamics. Swift body shape, retractable cameras to replace mirrors, recessed door handles. Although the performance is the same as that of the production sedans Mercedes-Benz CLA or BMW 3 Series: the drag coefficient Cd is 0.23.
But the company said that due to good streamlining and the use of innovative batteries, an electric Maven with a length of almost 5 meters will consume 14 kW per 100 km of run, and the cruising range of the outdated NEDC cycle will reach 800 km. The car will also be equipped with a full-fledged autopilot of the 3rd level, which in the parking mode has the capabilities of the 4th level, and V2X technology, which makes it possible to exchange information with the road infrastructure and other cars.
The Weltmeister production sedan will appear in 2021. It will resemble Maven, although it will lose most of the conceptual features, such as a steering wheel and a large projection screen. Nevertheless, cameras instead of traditional mirrors may well reach the conveyor.
In addition, it was recently noted that the new Citroen sedan will debut at the end of June. The car will belong to the C class sedans.
