Watch the McLaren GT accelerate to 200 km/hSeptember 23, 2019
According to the passport, it takes him nine seconds
On the YouTube channel Motorsport Magazine there was a video with the acceleration of the McLaren GT from zero to 200 kilometers per hour. According to the passport, a supercar does this exercise for nine seconds exactly.
Behind the back of the McLaren GT seats is a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 620 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. At the same time, close to peak thrust (95 percent) is available in the range from 3000 to 7250 rpm. The engine is paired with a seven-speed SSG selective robot. From zero to 100 km/h the supercar accelerates in 3.2 seconds.
McLaren positions GT as a practical grand tourer for city trips and travels. The main difference from the same Speedtail is the luggage compartment of 420 liters at the rear and 150 liters at the front. To make the supercar practical, even visibility has been improved: the rear pillars are glazed and additional side windows are installed.
Exactly one second more time is required to accelerate to 200 kilometers per hour for the new Porsche 911 Carrera S. The coupe is equipped with a 450-horsepower three-liter six-cylinder engine and an eight-speed robotized transmission with two clutches. The first 100 km/h rear-wheel drive car with the Sport Chrono package is gaining in 3.5 seconds.
