Watch the 1400-horsepower Nissan GT-R rush along the autobahnJune 3, 2020
AutoTopNL overseas YouTube channel showed a crazy overclock of the 1,400-horsepower performance of the Nissan GT-R supercar. The car was able to accelerate to a speed of 336.28 km / h on the German autobahn.
The current generation of the Japanese supercar Nissan GT-R is aging in every sense, but still offers customers impressive performance. In addition, its twin-turbo V6 engine responds very well to various upgrades. Want proof? The tuning company Total Car Concept has an upgraded version of this iconic car with a capacity of more than 1,600 horsepower (in the case when the engine runs on ethanol) or about 1,400 horsepower (using regular gasoline).
The GT-R from Total Car Concept atelier looks quite original.
The body will receive a Nismo carbon body kit, which gives the car a slightly more aggressive look, but at the same time, its exterior remains sophisticated. The rear wing is currently missing. In addition to some additional carbon fiber trim, the interior remains unchanged.
Real “magic” is under the hood. The power plant received various cams, new turbines, a powerful intercooler and exhaust systems. A reinforced transmission can handle a huge increase in power.
In addition to a little rough sound when starting the engine, the GT-R engine behaves quite calmly on the road – until you press the accelerator pedal down all the way. The car is capable of speeds from 100 to 200 km / h in just 3.5 seconds. It’s not easy to see the speedometer in this video, but according to the description of the AutoTopNL channel, the car accelerates to 337 km / h. It’s funny, but this crazy speed is almost invisible on the video.
