Watch Aston Martin Vulcan hypercar cover with protective filmJune 22, 2020
The published video shows how the experts at the Topaz Detailing Detiling Studio cover the body of a luxury Aston Martin Vulcan hypercar with a special protective film.
Aston Martin Vulcan is one of the rarest and most remarkable cars from the British manufacturer of sports cars. Naturally, the car costs a lot of money, and so that its body and optics remain intact for a long time, they are covered with a special protective film.
Aston Martin built just 24 copies of his Vulcan hypercar, and the car in this video is the only one painted green.
Given the rarity of this sports coupe, it is not surprising that its owner instructed the Topaz Detailing Detective Studio, which is located in the UK, to apply a protective transparent film to the car body so that it does not have scratches or other signs of time. There is no data on how much such a pleasure costs, but there is no doubt that it is quite expensive.
The film applied to the car, which in fact is intended only for the racetrack, is pre-cut into parts before experienced craftsmen apply it to the body parts of the outrageous hypercar, pouring the surface with a special soap composition and using a simple tool to distill the water. The seams of the various parts of the film are practically invisible, and you can only notice the borders of the film if you pull out the magnifying glass and inspect every square inch of the car.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that an exclusive Aston Martin V12 Zagato with an aluminum body is being sold at auction. At the Bell Sport & Classic overseas auction, it will be possible to purchase the one-of-a-kind Aston Martin V12 Zagato – the car received an all-aluminum body.
