Automobile Salon in Shanghai (China) in 2019 is just around the corner, and the German brand Volkswagen wants to be one of the first to introduce its most “fresh” novelty, which is reportedly “designed to strengthen the position of the German brand in the electric vehicle market”. For reference, China is currently the largest market for zero-emission vehicles in the world.

It is built on a modular MEB platform, which was created for electric vehicles. The car will be larger in size than the I.D. Crozz, presented in Los Angeles in 2017.
New I.D. Roomzz has a digital dashboard that, together with the steering wheel, “can float in front of the driver as a visual display.” The novelty will receive autonomous driving system. In addition, the crossover is equipped with a special version of the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, with two electric motors driving the front and rear axles. Output power is 302 horsepower. This allows the electric crossover to accelerate to 100 km / h in 6.6 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 180 km / h.
The electric car has a range of 450 km (as measured by the European WLTP cycle) or 475 km (according to the NEFZ cycle operating in China).
