The official presentation of the popular German hatchback will be held on October 24. The press service of the brand decided to publish the final teaser of its new product – this time we are shown a small piece of the back of the car.
You probably already know that this Thursday will be the day when the German Volkswagen brand finally presents its popular hatchback of a new (eighth) generation. A couple of minutes ago, the automaker’s press service published another, for this final teaser, dedicated to the long-awaited new product for everyone.
While the previous official Golf 2020 model year images were focused on the design of the front of the car and its interior, this time we decided to show a small piece of the back of the car.
To everyone’s surprise, the design of the taillight will not differ much from its current appearance, but it will get a completely new graphics. We expect that even the basic hatchback configurations will receive LED lights for some lighting functions, and more expensive versions of the car will likely have the bizarre sequential turn signals that VW introduced several years ago.
VW decided to abandon the three-door performance of the Golf hatchback, as well as the Sportsvan (wagon). Well, more powerful modifications of the model, with GTI and R indices, will be presented in 2020. As previously reported, the official presentation of the eighth generation VW Golf compact hatchback will be held October 24 from 16:00 to 17:50.
