VW has published another teaser for the new crossover T-CrossOctober 23, 2018
The press service of the German automaker published another, most likely final teaser for its subcompact crossover VW T-Cross.
In this video we are offered to look at the exterior of the rear of the car. I must say that the designers of the German brand decided to keep the same design style, in which the front part of the novelty is also made.
Since the crossover is based on the Polo model, the T-Cross will receive many components from the popular European hatchback. These include a fully digital dashboard, as well as a cabin layout. It is known that in the cabin of the crossover novelty a wireless charger will appear.
Of course, the T-Cross will get increased ground clearance. Now with regard to the luggage compartment – if you fold the rear row of seats, this figure will be equal to 1,281 liters, but with folded seats – 385 and 455 liters, depending on the position of the rear passenger row.
The MQB A0 modular platform will be offered with a set of familiar engines, including the base 1.0-liter 3-cylinder powerplant, and the larger 1.5-liter turbo engine. In some markets, customers will also be able to order an economical 1.6-liter diesel. So far, there is no data on whether the crossover will be offered only with front-wheel drive or whether it will be possible to order a four-wheel drive system.
