Voyah, the premium brand previously formed by Dongfeng Motor, unveiled its strategy and the debut prototype of i-Land at an event in Wuhan on Friday, July 31st.

It is now clear that the name Voyah originated from the word Voyage, which means “free and easy travel in a wonderful combination of technology and nature.”

The new brand plans to release exclusively electric cars and hybrids, for which the ESSA platform and MVP architecture have been developed.

According to the company, starting next year, Voyah will release one new product in China every year to cover all major segments within the next three to five years: a cross will appear after the sedan, and a minivan is planned for 2022. The new items will be produced at the former Renault plant in Wuhan. The production capacity of the car plant is 150,000 cars per year.

In addition, it was recently noted that the cheapest electric car is entering the American market. Demonstration of two new models will take place in August this year. It should be emphasized that cars are perfect for getting around the city.
