Volvo unveils updated XC60 crossover at Shanghai Auto ShowApril 8, 2021
Less than 2 weeks left until the start of the event. The new XC60 will be shown to the general public on Monday, April 19th.
Volvo is about to update its XC60 crossover. Portal “New Cars” reports that the new product will be shown in Shanghai on April 19. However, the first “live” photographs of the car were already available on Wednesday, April 7th. The pictures show the differences from previous versions.
So, the new XC60 will receive a new radiator grill, modified optics design and a new front bumper. In the interior of the mid-size cross-country, we note the emergence of more modern technologies – the dashboard has become digital, and gear changes are carried out using an electronic selector. The diagonal of the multimedia complex has become larger.
In China, the new Volvo XC60 will receive three power plants – this has already been officially confirmed. The base will be a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 197 hp. You can also buy a car with an engine of the same size, but with a return of 250 hp. And the top-end modification will receive a return of 392 hp.
In tandem with all engines, 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system work on an uncontested basis.
Of the technical equipment, it is worth stopping at a two-zone climate control, a sunroof, cruise control with the ability to drive through traffic jams, and a collision avoidance system. Prices for the new product have not yet been announced, but judging by the equipment and technical part, they will be very high.
