Volvo provides a lifetime parts warrantySeptember 24, 2020
Since this summer, Volvo will change the terms of the warranty for original parts. Upon replacement of the element, the owner receives a lifetime part warranty.
From now on, the Swedish brand has made life much easier for its customers by offering a lifetime warranty on its parts. There is one important nuance: we are not talking about parts that are put into the car from the production line, but about parts that have already been replaced once. Volvo’s goal is that customers never have to pay a second time to replace the same part.
The Lifetime Parts Warranty naturally only covers parts manufactured and assembled by Volvo itself. The effective date for this new parts scheme is June 1, 2020. The warranty does not cover accessories, goods, service and wear parts and parts that must be replaced periodically in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. However, there is no mileage limit and the warranty is valid as long as the Volvo is in the customer’s possession.
