Volvo P1800 Cyan showcased for the first timeNovember 6, 2020
Swedish racing team Cyan Racing today, 6 November, published the first photos of the Volvo P1800 Cyan interior and shared some new details.
As a reminder, the P1800 Cyan, which is a modern interpretation of the classic coupe, was first shown earlier this year.
Judging by the pictures, the interior has not changed much compared to the original car. There are two large calibration clusters, between which there is another vertical shape, showing the readings of water and oil sensors. You can also notice three small clusters on the dashboard, Recaro seats and a 5-speed manual transmission that sends torque to the rear wheels. In general, the interior of the car is decorated quite minimalist.
Cyan also shared the latest information on the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine. So, this unit will produce 420 hp. (455 Nm). It is based on the engine that powers the Volvo S60 TC1 racing car, while the Swedes tried to give the power plant a look close to the original. In addition, the P1800 Cyan features a new chassis, adjustable dampers, independent rear suspension and aluminum struts.
It is worth saying that the Volvo P1800 Cyan will be released in a limited edition (the exact number has not yet been disclosed). As for the cost of a unique car, you will have to pay at least $ 500,000 for it.
In addition, the cost of the debut electric car of the Volvo brand has recently become known. It should be emphasized that the production of this electric car of the Swedish brand is established at the company’s plant in the Belgian city of Ghent.
