Volvo Krigare coupe claims to be the most beautiful car brandFebruary 6, 2021
Let’s make a reservation right away, the renders show a car that the Swedish automaker itself has not even thought about yet. This sleek four-door coupé is the product of the imagination of independent designer Thomas Zumalacarrega.
Volvo has several successful models in its portfolio in terms of design – each of which has every right to be called the most beautiful car of the automaker. And not only. The Volvo Krigare concept coupe can compete with them.
The Volvo Krigare design predicts a clear future for the four-door coupe for the Swedes. The car, created by Thomas Zumalacarregi, resembles the Polestar 1 sports car in shape and dimensions. A car with an extended hood gets a huge radiator grille almost the entire width of the front end with large vertical stripes.
With it, the silhouette of the coupe seems to be more squat. The optics get a minimalist design with DRL arrows. With it, the Volvo Krigare gets a little aggressive looks. The concept car is shod with large wheels with black and silver spokes and a set of Brembo brakes.
The author of the renders deliberately lowered the roof line, and the front and rear pillars received a noble silver tint.
There are no B-pillars here, and the rear doors open towards traffic, judging by the location of the door handles. They, by the way, are on the same level with the body.
The rear of the car is decorated with graceful LED taillights with an interesting pattern. The boot lid is painted black and blends seamlessly into the high-gloss black roof. The impression of a single “seamless” design is created.
Meanwhile, new details have emerged about the new Geely crossover, which is built on the basis of Volvo. The car was named KX11, and its debut will take place in April at the Shanghai Auto Show.
