Volvo has assembled trucks in a 15-meter towerFebruary 26, 2020
The brand’s cargo division built a truck structure with the brand’s president on top.
Volvo Trucks has published a short video called the Tower. For this, 4 trucks were assembled in a 15-meter-high structure. The most interesting thing is that this time it was not Jean-Claude Van-Dam who appeared in the video, but Roger Alm – the president of the company.
For the construction of the tower were selected models Volvo FH, Volvo FH16, Volvo FM and Volvo FMX, designed for harsh environments. The construction took about one month. The base was a heavy truck Volvo FMX, the 38-ton rear platform of which was able to withstand the mass of other cars.
“Of course, as a result of my service, I’m used to striving for new heights, but these shootings on the top of the tower from trucks became something completely new to me, because this happens far from every day. And, let’s say so, I now have a certain respect for height. Especially when you consider that in everyday life I’m quite simple and even down to earth, ”said the top manager.
Recall that back in 2012, Volvo Trucks already surprised the audience with an unusual video in which the movie star Jean-Claude Van Damme starred. In the video, he balanced between two moving trucks, demonstrating his stretch.
