Volvo Geely Jiaji minivan noticeably updatedJanuary 29, 2020
The new product from Geely entered the market only at the beginning of 2019, and in February 2020, the brand was preparing to offer customers an updated version of the minivan.
In China, they are waiting for a restyled Geely Jiaji minivan, based on a modified platform from the Volvo XC40. In length, such a car reaches 4,706 mm with a wheelbase of 2,805 mm. After the upgrade, the minivan received a new version with a 1.8-liter gasoline turbo engine with 184 hp. In conjunction with it is a six-speed gearbox. Also, the novelty relies on an expanded list of available options and an updated brand logo, decorated in black.
The Geely Jiaji engine range also includes a 190-horsepower “soft” hybrid, which includes a one and a half liter turbo engine from Volvo XC40, a 48-volt starter-generator and a set of highly efficient batteries. Such a power plant is combined with a seven-speed “robot”. In the combined cycle, the hybrid Jiaji spends about 5.9 liters of fuel for every hundred runs.
The top minivans are powered by a rechargeable hybrid based on the same 1.5-liter engine. Its power rises to 258 hp, and average fuel consumption drops to 1.6 liters.
Regardless of the configuration, Geely Jiaji receives only the front-wheel drive system. The model’s arsenal includes modern driver’s assistants, a virtual dashboard, spectacular LED interior lighting, etc. In the “heavenly” car dealerships they ask for at least 99,800 yuan for Geely Jiaji. The maximum price tag reaches 148,800 yuan
