Geely announced the start of sales of the updated Geely Jiaji minivan, which was built together with Volvo specialists.
The restyled variation of the model differs from its predecessor in the presence of other head optics with vertical LED sections of the navigation lights, additional chrome elements on the body, and an enlarged panoramic roof with electric sunroof. In addition, the novelty has acquired other materials for interior upholstery and stylish inserts on the front panel with an original texture. It should be mentioned that the minivan is based on an advanced platform from the Volvo XC40 cross.
The length of the car is 4706 mm, width – 1909 mm, height – 1713 mm, and the distance between the axles – 2805 mm. The car received 1.5 and 1.8 liter turbo engines with a capacity of 177 and 184 hp. respectively. In the engine line, in particular, there is a hybrid power plant based on a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine, with which a 48-volt starter-generator operates. Transmission – 7-band “robot”. The drive is available exclusively front-wheel.
Geely Jiaji is also equipped with a 3-zone air conditioning system, automatic braking system, intelligent cruise control, video surveillance cameras, a virtual dashboard, a multimedia system with a large touch screen, and an atmospheric LED interior illumination.

In addition, it has recently been noted that the Renault Escape minivan will be discontinued. This is due to the low demand for such cars in Europe.
