Volvo announced a large-scale revocable campaign for 200,000 cars
January 23, 2019The recall will take place all over the world due to fuel quality problems. Experts were able to detect a problem with cracks in one of the hoses in the engine compartment, where fuel leakage could trigger a fire.
Volvo is forced to conduct a revocable campaign, the cause of which was the possible ignition of the engine compartment. Due to a problem found in the gas line, which leads to the formation of microcracks on one of the hoses under the hood, about 200,000 cars will be withdrawn, as reported by the Swedish TV channel SVT.
At the moment, data on the recorded cases of harm to people due to the detected fault is not. The drivers were also warned that the most important symptom was the smell of fuel in the engine compartment.
In the meantime, the Volvo V40 hatchback will be “redefined” into a “creative” crossover. At least, the current version of the hatchback will leave the assembly line as morally obsolete in modern trends.
