Volkswagen has prepared three new products for the SEMA Show starting today. First and foremost is Atlas Adventure. This car perfectly combines off-road driving with travel comfort. The car was increased ground clearance, a ceiling tent was added and special tires were provided. For a more comfortable ride in the dark, the front part is equipped with additional running lights. And the main feature will be an onboard drone with a video camera, the image of which can be viewed in the cockpit. The second version of the concept was called Atlas Basecamp Concept. This vehicle’s ground clearance has increased by 38 mm; additional lights have been added to it front and rear.
With 17-inch wheels, the car is equipped with 265/70 A / T tires, which provides increased cross-country ability. There is a bicycle holder on the roof of the car.
There is a high probability that this version of the concept car will go into mass production. The third model, developed in collaboration with Thule, is called Thule Atlas Concept. This option boasts a roof rack and a tent, as well as special equipment for hitching. The car is made in a stylish darkened color scheme and is equipped with 20-inch satin wheels in black.
