Volkswagen vintage minibus put up for saleNovember 3, 2019
At the Bringatrailer auction, a 1973 Volkswagen van with a mileage of 90,000 km appeared on sale.
The Volkswagen minibus of the 1973 production year has a 2-color body color from the past owner: the top is a white shade, and the bottom is yellow. The van received white-painted bumpers, as well as double rear-view mirrors.
At the same time, 14-inch steel wheels have chrome caps. The front wheels have all-season Toyo tires with the indicated date of 2018, while the rear wheels wear 2003 Ohtsu tires.
Inside, the van has bucket seats and a rear L-shaped bench, which is upholstered in gray vinyl with a yellow trim. The front seats are separated by a console with an armrest and cup holders. In addition, the vintage car has a 2-spoke steering wheel and an odometer, which shows 90 thousand km. At the same time, the real mileage of the car is not reported.
The minibus is set in motion by a 1.97 liter engine installed from the van of the 1976 production year in 2014. The motor operates in conjunction with a 4-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive system. At the time of writing, the cost of this machine was 5100 dollars, but there was one more day left until the end of the auction.
In addition, the Chevrolet Corvette C4 similar to the Dodge Viper was put up for sale earlier. The corresponding announcement was published on Facebook.
