Volkswagen has begun accepting applications for the new premium Viloran minivan. You can pre-order a car starting on Wednesday, May 27th. A novelty is available in the car market in China. The minivan has already been launched into mass production, and the first samples will soon begin to arrive at official dealers of the brand. The car was built on a modern platform MQB. The length of the novelty reaches 5,346 mm with a wheelbase of 3,180 mm, a width of 1,976 mm, and a height of 1,781 mm.
From the design, common features with the current version of the Volkswagen Touareg can be distinguished. In the front part, a massive radiator grille with chrome horizontal stripes along the entire length, as well as LED headlights, draws attention to itself. In the lateral part, we note the embossed stampings on the doors. The interior of the new Viloran has 7 seats, and the second row has increased comfort. The sliding door for passengers is electrically operated to provide better comfort.
As a power plant, a 2.0-liter engine is used in two different boosting options – the first has a return of 186 hp, and a more powerful version is capable of producing 220 hp The engine works in tandem with 8-speed automatic transmission
The manufacturer claims that the consumption of gasoline in the combined cycle does not exceed 7.6 liters per 100 kilometers. A hybrid version is expected soon. The developers paid great attention to active and passive safety systems – the novelty is equipped with collision avoidance, lane control and blind spot monitoring systems.
