Volkswagen Tharu Plus crossover sales beginDecember 10, 2019
Volkswagen Corporation announced the start of sales of a new version of the compact crossover Tharu. The new model is called Tharu Plus. The machine differs from the standard variation with minor cosmetic improvements and an expanded set of options.
Tharu Plus is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels with a special design, additional chrome moldings on the body, an infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen, and a combined trim.
The cross has a length of 4453 mm, a width of 1841 mm, a height of 1630 mm, and a wheelbase of 2680 mm. The car is driven by a 150-horsepower TSI engine of 1.4 liters and a flagship 2.0-liter engine with a capacity of 180 hp. Together with all power units, a 6-speed manual transmission or “robot” DGS7 functions. The drive is offered exclusively full.
Tharu Plus is also equipped with a collision avoidance system, a virtual dashboard, a glass roof with a sunroof, wireless charging for a smartphone and adaptive cruise control.
