Volkswagen Tharu has been in high demand for the fourth month in a rowFebruary 24, 2019
The German concern seems to have guessed with the new model and its design. The crossover in the Chinese market has received almost rush demand, and the number of cars sold is constantly growing.
Sales of the Volkswagen Tharu crossover have been growing for the fourth month in a row since entering the market. At the end of January 2019, only 12,600 copies were sold, an increase of 23% compared to the results of December 2018. And this is happening against the background of a general decline, which is observed in the Chinese automobile market. It perfectly shows the excitement around the German model.

As a power unit on the crossover, the proposed line of 1.4 and 2.0 liter turbo engines capable of developing up to 150 and 186 horsepower. A little later, a modification with a 1.2-liter turbo engine for 116 horsepower will appear. Together with all the units can work as a manual transmission on six speed, and a robotized transmission on seven steps. There is no all-wheel drive.
