Volkswagen stops accepting orders for new Polo GTiSeptember 2, 2020
The reason for the stop accepting orders was too high demand for the car, which makes the plant unable to cope with the load.
The new generation of the Volkswagen Polo GTi sedan has become temporarily unavailable for order – this was announced on Wednesday, September 2, by the Carscoops. The reason for the stop was not some problems, but a very large number of applications for the car, which turned out to be significantly higher than the initial forecast.
When you try to configure a car on the website, the system says that it is impossible to place an order and offers to purchase an already assembled car from a dealer. Volkswagen said that at the moment they cannot increase production, and the order limit for Polo GTi in 2020 has already been exhausted. However, there is good news for those who want to buy a car – they will start accepting applications for 2021 at the end of the year.
Note that under the hood of the new Volkswagen Polo GTi is a 2.0-liter engine with 197 hp.
A 6-speedrobotic transmission works in tandem with the power plant. This combination allows you to gain the first 100 km / h in just 6.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 237 km / h.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen has announced the cost of the new Arteon. It is noteworthy that the price of a car in a classic body and Shooting Brale performance differs only slightly. At the moment, the novelty can be purchased in a luxury version.
