Volkswagen starts selling its largest crossover TalagonMay 2, 2021
The presentation of the car took place at the Shanghai Motor Show, which took place in the second half of April.
The German company Volkswagen announced the start of accepting orders for the new Talagon cross. Such information on Sunday, May 2, was shared by the New Cars portal. The car will be the largest SUV of the brand with dimensions of 5152x2002x1795 mm with a wheelbase of 2,980 mm.
In the front part, attention is drawn to the design of the optics, which smoothly goes into the radiator grille. The bumpers turned out to be massive, and the taillights were combined into a monoblock. There is a large spoiler on the tailgate, and the side doors are decorated with a striking stripe of chrome.
But the interior is significantly different from other Volkswagen models – you can distinguish a digital dashboard, a large screen of a multimedia complex that faces the driver, and a very unusual gear selector. The engine range consists of two power plants – both of them have a 2.0-liter volume.
The output of the first is 186 hp, while the declared power of the other reaches 220 hp. The proprietary DSG “robot” is selected as a transmission, and all-wheel drive is available for an additional charge.
The equipment has three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance system, panoramic roof and all-round cameras. The cost of new items starts at 318,900 yuan
Earlier there was new information regarding the “charged” car BMW M2. According to preliminary data, the car may appear in 2023.
