Volkswagen announced two premieres at the Geneva Motor Show in March. So, the public will be shown the most powerful diesel crossover in the history of the brand — the Touareg with the new 4.0-liter diesel engine V8. Power unit is 420 liters. with. and 900 N · m of torque.
With this unit acceleration to 100 km/h of the crossover takes just 4.9 seconds. The maximum speed is 250 km per hour. The same engine is now installed on the Audi SQ7. The heavy duty Touareg received two design packages. The first is called Elegance, and it is dominated by “cold, metallic” shades. The second, Atmosphere, is distinguished by its “warm atmosphere, dominated by wood and natural tones.” Also, the novelty is completed with a pneumatic suspension, electric tailgate, pedal pads made of stainless steel, 19-inch wheels, a mirror with an auto-dimming function.
Also in Geneva, Volkswagen will show a new modification of the T-Roc crossover with the prefix R. This is still a concept of a future model. The serial version of the machine will show closer to the end of the year. The main competitors of the novelty are the BMW X2 M35i and Audi SQ2.

The engine works in conjunction with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration to 100 km/h of T-Roc R takes 4.9 seconds.
The car was equipped with another optics, 18-inch wheels, spoiler, Akrapovic titanium exhaust system and another grille with edging made of anodized aluminum. Also, the T-Roc appeared massive wheel arches, large air intakes, black brake calipers and sports bumpers.
