Volkswagen showed the updated PoloSeptember 5, 2019
The model received a revised exterior design, small changes in the cabin, as well as an expanded list of standard equipment in the basic configuration. The car is still built on the basis of the old PQ25 platform.
A restyled Volkswagen Polo hatchback and Ventro sedan were presented at a special event in India. Updated versions are intended for the local market. However, the cars are built on the same platform – the outdated PQ25. Now cars can boast a new design with some elements from the “charged” GT.
New items have received a revised design of the front and rear bumpers, radiator grills, door sills, as well as alloy wheels. In addition, the list of standard equipment for the basic configuration was expanded. Polo and Vento have preserved versions of GT and GT Line, which differ in the spoiler, roof and mirror housings in black, as well as nameplates.
The most affordable version already has rear parking sensors, a “bell” for an unfastened seat belt, and a speed warning system. In the top-end configuration, the Volkswagen Connect system became available – a system that allows the owner to monitor the condition of the car: fuel consumption, driving style, travel routes.
