Volkswagen showed a powerful version of Virtus GTSAugust 20, 2019
Photos of the production version of the Volkswagen Virtus GTS began to appear.
The standard version of Volkswagen Virtus has been available for purchase in the South American market for almost two years. The model is made in Brazil, and in fact it is a version of the sixth generation Volkswagen Polo.
However, all this time, manufacturers were intrigued by the release of a charged version of the GTS and even showed a concept at the end of 2018 at one of the Sao Paulo auto show. Now finally photos of the production version of the Volkswagen Virtus GTS began to appear.
GTS interior elements hint at the sporty mood of the car. It should be noted comfortable chairs with a deep seat and lateral support, as well as red-stitching braiding the steering wheel, the casing of the backstage of gear selection and the contour of the interior ventilation deflectors. The complete picture is completed by an adaptive dashboard located in a plain black front panel.
The car was equipped with a 1.4 liter TSI engine with a power of 150 hp, which certainly propels Virtus GTS to the first place in the model line.
It is also worth noting that the designers managed to save almost all the elements of the concept car, with the exception of alloy wheels. Their size had to be reduced from 18 inches to 17.
The start of sales of Volkswagen Virtus GTS is scheduled for the end of this year. The cost of the charged version is unfortunately not yet known.
