Volkswagen refreshes its entire lineup by 2021August 11, 2020
Information appeared on the Web that Volkswagen has revised its car lineup for next year, adding new units, upgraded technologies and a new MIB3 infotainment system.
It is known that the updates will affect some engines, interior trim and a wide range of transitions to the modern infotainment system from the company MIB3. So, the most budgetary car Volkswagen Up! received a new, powerful 64-horsepower 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol unit that meets the latest RDE2 emission standards. This model is equipped with climate control and a new allergenic filter. Moving up the lineup, the Polo received a redesigned emergency call service. The hatchback has also been fitted with an updated ‘Polo’ badge that sits in the middle of the tailgate, like the branding on the Mk8 Golf.
As for the Volkswagen T-Cross SUV, it has recently received the modern infotainment system of the MIB3 brand. The crossover’s powertrain will also now be fully emission compliant with the addition of a new 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol unit with 108 hp. as well as the Polo, the mid-size Volkswagen T-Roc will be equipped with a standard emergency call system throughout its range. The SUV’s USB-B ports have also been replaced with USB-C ports. The T-Roc units have also been updated to comply with the latest RDE2 emission regulations, but there are a couple of new powertrain options available.
