Volkswagen presented a new cross-wagonAugust 31, 2020
This is the new CC Shooting Brake, which has received a number of significant differences from the new Arteon Shooting Brake, intended for the European market.
Volkswagen presented a new model in the Chinese car market – it became the CC Shooting Brake crossover station wagon. Compared to the recently introduced Arteon Shooting Brake in Europe, the car for China has a higher ground clearance, an additional protective body kit and a richer set of options. Despite the fact that the recently introduced versions of the Volkswagen CC in China have become closer to the global Arteon, the CC Shooting Brake modification has significant differences.
Chief among them is its purpose for more practical purposes, and not for sports driving. From the exterior, we note the presence of a more massive plastic body kit for driving outside the asphalt, roof rails and a chrome trim on the tailgate. As a power plant, the new model will receive an uncontested 2.0-liter turbo engine with 220 horsepower. It works in tandem with the proprietary DSG robotic gearbox.
Selling the car will begin in the fall of 2020, prices will be announced closer to the start of implementation.
For the current version of the Volkswagen CC, Chinese dealers ask for a minimum of 247 thousand yuan
