Volkswagen named the start of sales of the new CaddyOctober 24, 2020
The German automaker has announced the timing of the start of Caddy sales.
The new Caddy will go on sale in Europe before the end of this fall. The Caddy V will initially be available in Germany, Austria and Poland at the end of next month. Later sales will begin in other European countries, after which the car will debut outside of Europe. At first, the new product will be offered to customers in the Kombi, Caddy, Life, Style and Move versions; the cargo van will be presented in the Cargo and Cargo Maxi versions. Starting next spring, the 4Motion all-wheel drive transmission will be available for a number of van modifications. By next summer, the Caddy California camper will be on sale, which is the successor to Caddy Beach.
There is information that the car will have a kitchenette and a panoramic roof. In addition, the Caddy PanAmericana van will be unveiled over the next year, and the Long Wheelbase Maxi will be available for all versions. The Caddy will be powered by 2.0-liter TDI turbo diesel engines with “twin-injection” Twindosing with 75, 102 and 122 hp outputs, as well as a 1.5 TSI petrol turbo engine with 116 hp and running on natural gas unit 1.5 TGI (130 hp).
