Volkswagen launches sales of its cheapest Jetta VA3 sedanSeptember 16, 2019
From today, September 16, in the Chinese car market, they began to sell the cheapest sedan under the Jetta brand – Jetta VA3. The geography of the distribution of new items has not yet been reported.
At one time, the Jetta from the Volkswagen model turned into an independent budget sub-brand. The brand has already acquired its own Jetta VS5 crossover, which was based on the Volkswagen Tharu bestseller. Now the brand is ready to offer customers a new Jetta VA3 sedan, which is called a cheaper version of the Russian VW Polo. Both models share one upgraded PQ25 platform. Cars differ from each other only in individual exterior elements. But their dimensions almost coincide, as well as the interior design. Of the differences: the Jetta VA3 has round vents and a different steering wheel.
Already in the “base”, the novelty receives DRLs on LEDs, 19-inch stamped wheels, ABS, two airbags, an audio system, air conditioning and much more.
Buyers of top-end sedan trim levels can count on cruise and climate control, multimedia with an 8-inch touchscreen, a sunroof, additional airbag, leather interior and 15-inch alloy wheels. As a motor, a one and a half liter 112-horsepower aspirated EA211 is offered, combined with a manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. In the Chinese car dealerships for new items will have to pay from 65,800 to 92,800 yuan
