Volkswagen is preparing a high-profile premiere – it’s about the electric version of the popular Tharu crossover. The car was called E-Tharu. The car will be driven by an electric power plant with a return of 136 hp. If we talk about the power reserve, then the developers managed to achieve average performance – 300 km of track without recharging. To create a car, the Skoda Karoq platform was used, so the crossover turned out to be quite compact – 4,453 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width and 1,630 mm in height. At the same time, the interior will be spacious due to the large wheelbase – 2,680 mm. The car will receive rich equipment – it is worth noting a whole range of active and passive safety systems.
From comfort, we pay attention to the leather trim, wireless charging of phones and a panoramic roof. The electric version of the cross will be presented in early 2020, then prices will be announced.
Note that the basic version of Volkswagen Tharu with internal combustion engines in China costs 169,800 yuan. And for the maximum configuration you have to pay 229,800 yuan.
