Volkswagen introduced a minivan called Viloran, which became the largest model of the brand, built on a modular platform MQB. The car premiered at the motor show in Guangzhou.
The length of the Volkswagen Viloran was 5300 mm, the width was 2000 mm, and the size of the wheelbase was 3180 millimeters. Thus, the novelty turned out to be about half a meter more than the Sharan model.
The minivan received a salon with a landing formula of 2 + 2 + 3. In the middle row are two separate captain’s chairs with electric adjustments and extendable footrests. At the disposal of passengers a panoramic roof and three-zone cruise control. The list of equipment included adaptive cruise control, a system of all-round visibility and a traffic assistant in dense city traffic.
Volkswagen Viloran is still in pre-production prototype status, so there are no data on powertrain yet. It is assumed that the freight car will be equipped with a two-liter gasoline supercharged “four”, developing 220 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The engine will work together with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches.
