Volkswagen introduced the e-Lavida electro-sedan for ChinaMarch 25, 2019
Electric car was created specifically for the “heaven” car market. As autoexperts rightly point out, the resulting “green” car is not much different from the VW petrol models.
Volkswagen has prepared a VW e-Lavida electric sedan for its Chinese customers. The interest of the German brand, which is currently actively promoting its electric cars to the Celestial Empire, is explained by experts by the special attitude of local residents towards environmentally friendly cars. China today accounts for over half of global sales of “green” cars. If we compare the electric novelty with the Volkswagen gasoline models, then we will not find any fundamental differences (except for the power plant).
The manufacturer slightly modified the bumpers, and also reworked the grille. Inside, the car, in turn, has a new instrument cluster with analogue scales. Digital dashboard not put.
The 136-strong electric motor is the same as on the European version of e-Golf. But the battery capacity is kept secret. It is known that without charging e-Lavida will be able to travel 278 kilometers on the NEDC cycle. The maximum speed of the novelty will be 150 km / h. There is no information on pricing, however, experts do not exclude that the prices for VW e-Lavida will slightly differ from the price tags on Nissan Sylphy Zero Emission. This sedan is considered the main competitor of the new Volkswagen.
