Volkswagen has published a teaser for the updated van Caddy 2020January 27, 2020
The press service of the German brand has published a pair of images of the new generation of the Volkswagen Caddy van / minivan. The novelty will be presented next month, and its sales will start by the end of this year.
The Volkswagen Caddy is a compact commercial van that, thanks to its small size, fits the standards of automotive segment A. The fifth generation of the model will be presented very soon. Two new teaser images are very realistic images of the novelty. The next generation car will debut in February this year and should appear on sale in some markets by the end of the year.
It is worth noting the wide air intake, which is located at the bottom of the front bumper, as well as another similar hole, which is located on top.
Thanks to this design technique, as well as the cloudless finish of the headlights, one gets the feeling that the entire front panel of the novelty has become wider. Published images do not give a good overview of the rear, but it is already clear that the taillights will receive a more vertical shape. Although it is almost invisible, but there is a panoramic sunroof that provides more light in the cabin.
The model will be available as standard Caddy in the form of a tiny van for transporting people or Caddy Cargo for transporting goods. Buyers will be able to choose between two wheelbase lengths.
VW notes that this is a completely new generation of model. The company intends to offer a van with new driver assistance systems. The car will get an internet connection. Caddy is built on the modular MQB platform, and this should lead to a wide variety of available engine options.
