Volkswagen has named the debut date of the new cross-coupe Volkswagen Tiguan XAugust 17, 2020
This SUV, with its popular coupe silhouette today, is based on an extended version of another German SUV. Europeans know this car as the Tiguan Allspace, and the people of China know it as the Tiguan L.
The coupe-like Volkswagen Tiguan X will debut on September 26 at the Beijing Auto Show. The portal “New Cars” writes about it.
The car with the “X” prefix differs from the standard 2021 Tiguan, first of all, by a new roof design and a modified stern. But on the technical side, these two SUVs are identical. At the same time, the coupe-like novelty gets the R Line sports package.
The front part of the VW Tiguan and its coupe-like relative is the same: elongated head optics, a neat radiator grill, etc. But the cross-coupe stern turned out to be much more distinctive. The novelty gets spectacular taillights interconnected by a plastic overlay, a new bumper, etc. The Volkswagen Tiguan X is 4,764 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,791 mm.

According to preliminary data, the price tag for the new product will be about 237 thousand yuan. The SUV will be produced by the Chinese joint venture Shanghai Volkswagen.
