Volkswagen has decoded a “charged toddler” – the crossover T-Roc RFebruary 25, 2019
The most powerful version of the Volkswagen T-Roc crossover is declassified in all details. In addition to new photos on the Web also appeared information about the technical characteristics, but the price tag remained unknown.
The German concern Volkswagen decided not to wait for the Geneva Motor Show and introduced a “charged” version of the compact crossover T-Roc in the R modification. The car received an accelerated gasoline turbomotor for 2.0 liters, capable of developing up to 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Couple with him will be offered only a robotized transmission on seven stages and a full 4Motion drive.
According to official information, the crossover is now able to accelerate to “hundreds” for 4.9 seconds, and the maximum speed will be limited to electronics at a mark of 250 km / h. The public display of the model will be held March 5 as part of the salon in Geneva.
Judging by the photos presented, the Volkswagen T-Roc R received a new aerodynamic aperture, a revised radiator grille, as well as a functional rear spoiler and diffuser. The car also received an upgraded exhaust system, a re-engineered steering, modified suspension settings, a modernized brake system, and also branded alloy wheels of 19 inches.
Unfortunately, the press service of the company has not yet opened the details of price policy, as well as the dates of delivery of the model to different markets.
